Plan your trip to the Liverpool Christmas Market
The magical Liverpool Christmas Market returns each year the wonderful city of Liverpool between Saturday the 16th of November and Sunday the 24th of December. Get ready to celebrate in true Northern style, with even more stallholders and festive treats than ever before, it's not going to be one to miss.
Where we are
The market is located at St. George's Plateau just outside St. George's Hall.

Public transport
The Christmas Market is located over the road from Liverpool Lime Street Station. So whether you’re from the Liverpool or just visiting, it's really easy to reach. The Northern Rail and National Rail services both call at Liverpool Lime Street Station. The Christmas Market is also only a six minute walk from Liverpool Central Station and for anyone arriving via Moore Street Station or James Street Station it's a 12-15 minute stroll.
If you prefer to use the bus, the Christmas Market is just five minute walk from Queen Square Bus Station - the nearest stops are Lord Nelson Street or St George's Hall. We do however suggest you check the Stagecoach and Arriva Bus websites /apps for accurate information nearer the time.
Car
Please note due to the ongoing improvements around the city, there is likely to be some road closures during the festive season. Please check google maps or the AA website for information before you travel. There is plenty of parking nearby, including St John’s Shopping Centre, the Queen Square Q Park and Mount Pleasant Car Park.
By Boat
The Mersey Ferry Terminal is a 17 minute walk to the Christmas Market or if you don't fancy a walk, you can grab an e-scooter, taxi or bus nearby.
Luggage / Shopping Bags
You can leave luggage at Excess Baggage Co, opposite the ticket office in the Liverpool LIme Street Station. These facilities are from Monday to Thursday 07:00 – 21:00 and Friday to Sunday 07:00 – 23:00
